Got me a couple of marijuana-themed movies (new releases) from Blockbuster
this week.
Stone & Ed was kinda stupid. A lot stupid actually. It stars some dudes I’ve never heard of, as well as the fat guy from Borat. The back of the DVD box says:
”It’s just another hazy day for Stone & Ed until the unwittingly stumble into a cat and mouse game between a drug lord and the CIA. Stone & Ed are in the for trip of their lives.”
The other movie I watched was Smiley Face, and it wasn’t half bad. I mean, it was stupid also, but it starred ultra-hot Anna Faris as a stoner chick. Other stars in the movie are Danny Masterson (That 70’s Show), John Krasinski (The Office) and one of the dudes from Harold & Kumar. This movie was better than Stone & Ed.
Oh and if you dont have an online Blockbuster.com account
, you need to CLICK HERE
and get one. You can get movies at the corner store, and have them delivered to your home at the same time. True dat.

Awesome. Medical marijuana vending machines will be popping up in Los Angeles soon. This won’t directly affect me, as I don’t live in California, but it’s another step in the right direction of marijuana legalization.
Here is the story from SignOnSanDiego.com:
THE FUTURE IS HERE: Pot vending machines

In Japan, vending machines distribute beer. In the future, public booths will aid in the act of suicide. And in Los Angeles, marijuana comes from an ATM.
The proper acronym is AVM, Anytime Vending Machine. L.A. is now home to two 24-hour pot AVMs, one on Melrose and another on La Cienega. But don’t head for the 5 just yet. You’re still required to jump through all the regulatory hoops — the doc’s OK, namely. The AVM attendant then approves your prescription, takes your fingerprints and hands you a prepaid credit card that stores your dosage allowance and flavor of choice.
But keep in mind: in California, just because you can get most any hokey doctor to say it’s fine for you to smoke your sickness away doesn’t mean you can’t be fired for it.
On a side note, the San Diego medicinal marijuana clinic’s Web site says it has temporarily moved to the Orange County line because the county’s board of supervisors hasn’t gotten around to implementing Proposition 215 because it violates federal law.
Which is why we dedicate the following song to you, San Diego County board of supervisors.

Ok, I’ve pretty much always just preferred to smoke my weed, I’ve never really experimented cooking with marijuana, but I have had some brownies and various foods that other people have cooked with weed and shared with me.
Anyway, what are some of your favorite marijuana cooking recipes? Have you had any unique cooking ideas for marijuana? If so, leave a comment and share them here!
