Poll: 57% Of Floridians Support Legalizing Medical Marijuana – Toke of the Town
big majority of Florida residents support the legalization of medical marijuana, according to a new survey from a Republican pollster. According to the poll, 57 percent of Floridians would back such a move.

Cops Raid ‘Pot Jungle’ Grow House in Staten Island
On Monday the New York Police Department busted a “groovy garden” in Staten Island consisting of 375 marijuana plants. According to the New York Post, the operation was run by two brothers and took in nearly $1 million a year. The house was sucking off over $100,000 in stolen power from Con Ed. A police source told the paper, “You almost got a contact high by just going into the house. It was like a heavy, earthy pot smell.” More details, via the Post, after the jump.
