We all know a few people who may need some rehabilitation therapy to cure their Harry Potter addiction once the credits role on the franchise’s final film tonight. But just how long have people been suffering from Harry-related addictions?

In fact, a Time magazine article all the way from 1931 warns of the problem. “In New Orleans many a schoolchild is said to be an addict,” it reads. “Prison authorities find muggle-smuggling a perplexing problem.”

Hold on–muggle smuggling?!

A 125-year-old woman, said to be one of the oldest women in India, died at her home in Orissa, her family said Sunday. Fulla Nayak claimed that smoking cannabis every day was her secret to long life.

Fulla Nayak, a resident of Kanarpur village in the coastal district of Kendrapada, died of old age complications Saturday.

Medical Marijuana Bill Will Be Introduced In Alabama – Toke of the Town

An Alabama legislator is going forward with his bill that would legalize marijuana for medicinal purposes, and he expects to pre-file the legislation within a week.

Rep. K.L. Brown (R-Jacksonville) said on Wednesday that he had submitted the bill Monday to the state’s Legislative Reference Service, reports Patrick McCreless at The Anniston Star. Lawmakers submit their legislation to that department before filing it in the Legislature.
