That’s the title of a novel by Lee Henshaw that I just ordered thanks to the description by Dom Joly as “Like some stoned new Kerouac, simply brilliant…” and also the YouTube video below posted by some fans of the book. The guys in the video are supposedly re-creating a “Blackcurrant Bath Bong” scene from the book.
LOL. I’m a fan of Michael Phelps, now that I know he smokes weed. Seriously, a lot of people are saying this is going to kill his chances for competing in the Olympics in 2012. Whatever. Click the picture for a larger view.
Phelps issued a pretty lame apology too, saying:
“I engaged in behavior which was regrettable and demonstrated bad judgment,” the record-setting American athlete said in a statement issued Sunday..”
“I’m 23 years old, and despite the successes I have had in the pool, I acted in a youthful and inappropriate way, not in a manner that people have come to expect from me,” Phelps said. “For this, I am sorry. I promise my fans and the public — it will not happen again
Come on, Mike…just tell everybody you enjoy the occasional toke/bonghit. I remember during the Olympics people talking about you eating 8,000 calories per day…heh.
Also, whoever the snitch is that sold the picture of Phelps smoking a bong, should be shunned forever. Narc.

Currently a modern movement for legalization of the cannabis sativa plant has taken stronghold in American culture, especially within the liberal sub-cultures of California. All over, people are pushing for the recognition of the substance as a medicine as well as the right to use it as a recreational substance. Just how new is this, “modern†movement?
accidently dropped your lighter into your bong? i just did. yeah, i don’t really know how it happened, I guess I had my lighter in the same hand that i reached over to pick up my bong with, and it slipped from my hand into the bong.
